Team News: Dagenham v Morecambe

Morecambe's 2014/15 league 2 season gets underway with an away game at the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham Stadium on Saturday.

What a mouthful that is, it was easier when it was Victoria Road!

Plenty of changes have taken place at Dagenham & Redbridge this summer but Morecambe will be confident going into the season.

Dagenham signed 12 players this summer, among them was veteran striker Jamie Cureton and he is in contention to make his debut but 13-goal topscorer from last season Rhys Murphy is out until September.

The Shrimps will be without Ryan Edwards (fractured finger) so the former Blackburn Rovers man will miss out, but Jim Bentley is looking pretty good with most other options that he has.

It's a difficult one to call but I could see us winning if we turn up? What do you think?
