Shrimps Loan Mwasile To Altrincham

Shrimps Loan Mwasile To Altrincham

Joe Mwasile has featured regularly for Morecambe this season, however most of his performances have come as a substitute.

In order for him to get some more first team football, and on a regular basis as a starter, Jim Bentley has decided that a loan spell away from the Globe Arena would be a good idea so he's joined Altrincham on loan for a month.

The boss explained the move to the official website: 'Joe has done well when he has come off the bench for us in recent weeks but it is time he had regular football at this stage of his career.

'He had a good spell at Workington last season and will benefit from this one as well.

'Altrincham are a good club and they have a lot of games in January and it will be great experience for him.'

Mwasile has featured 23 times for the Shrimps this season, making 35 appearances overall for the club, but just five of these have been as a starter with all but one of these starts coming this season.

Bentley's not hidden his desire to bring in a player and he hopes to have this player secured by the weekend.
