Can The Shrimps Extend The Run?

Can The Shrimps Extend The Run?

It's almost like a dream that you don't want to end with Morecambe at the moment, the problem is you know it's got to at sometime but each time you hope it's not just yet!

Morecambe are looking to extend an incredible unbeaten run when they take on AFC Wimbledon at the Globe Arena on Saturday.

Long-term injuries will again keep Chris McCready (ankle) and Jack Redshaw (hip) out.

Them aside, other than Marcus Marshall (hamstring), who will be assessed, Jim Bentley has a near full house to select from though.

As I said this dream run is something you don't want to end but you just know it has to at some point, a couple of weeks ago I think I would have said that Wimbledon would be the club to end this but now I'm not so sure as the Wombles are having a bit of a wobble.

Keeping the run going, however it comes, would be fine but with the need to keep the home crowd we have (let alone add to it) a win could be crucial and I think we might just get it!
