'If It's Football, It's Vital'

A Massive Loss

The Morecambe board backed Jim Bentley to the hilt recently when they trusted his judgement to turn down a substantial bid for Jack Redshaw.

A six-figure fee was turned down for the 22-year-old, however the Shrimps have now been dealt the blow of losing him for at least half a season.

Redshaw requires a hip operation, following an injury sustained in pre-season recently, and that will rule him out for five to seven-months.

Without a doubt the striker will be missed, but as one door closes another will open to someone else!
