Pro Deal For Defender

Will Bell will be challenging for a first team spot at Morecambe next season following the signing of his first professional contract.

The defender has penned a one-year contract with Jim Bentley, as he told the official website, saying: 'Will has done well in the youth team and the reserves and is someone who has a lot of potential.

'We will watch his progress closely over the year and hope to develop him even further. We look forward to working with him.'

Bell, a regular in the youth and reserve sides, was an unused sub for a first team game last season and will be looking to make the bench (at least) plenty of times this season.
