Veteran Agrees New Deal

Veteran Stewart Drummond has signed a new deal with Morecambe.

Having started his career with The Shrimps, Drummond went on to stay with the club for more than a decade. After spells with Chester and Shrewsbury he returned to Morecambe in 2008 and has remained ever since.

At 37-years of age the midfielder, who made an impressive 50 appearances in the season just ended, will almost certainly now end his career with the club too.

Drummond will combine his playing role with his reserve team manager position once more.
