New Shrimps Deal For Fleming?

New Shrimps Deal For Fleming?

It's being reported, with other players being forced to leave the club due to financial means, that Andy Fleming isn't going to be one of these.

Sky Sports "understands" that Fleming has signed a new two-year contract?

Clubs at a higher level than League Two have apparently been looking at the 25-year-old, who has become an instrumental player for the club since his arrival from Wrexham, but this new contract should leave Morecambe in a stronger position.

The midfielder could still leave The Globe this summer, perhaps, however with an apparent new deal signed the transfer fee involved would increase as The Shrimps would be left in a strong position in any such negotiations.
