Morecambe End On A High

Southend 0-1 Morecambe
27th April 2013
15:00
Roots Hall

Morecambe ended the season on a high with a victory at Southend, who continued to end the season with a whimper.

Sean Clohessy, making a club record 59th appearance of the season, found himself robbed by Andrew Fleming (34) who went onto score. The Southend defender had been attempting to let the ball run out of play.

Ryan Cresswell put a header over and Gavin Tomlin had one effort saved by Barry Roche as Morecambe held on to run out 1-0 winners.
