Ellison Signs New Morecambe Deal

Kevin Ellison signed a new contract ahead of the weekend win over Rochdale on Saturday afternoon that will keep him at Morecambe until the end of next season.

Jim Bentley, telling the official website, was left more than pleased with this news: 'Kevin has once again been brilliant for us this year and I am delighted that he has agreed to be here for another year at least.

'He is a great character to have around and a real leader and he has been excellent for us.'

Ellison couldn't have celebrated this new deal any better than the way he did at the weekend, his superb goal contributed to The Shrimps 3-0 win.
