Williams Earns Extended Shrimps Deal

Having had to wait patiently, until quite recently, for a short-term deal after arriving at Morecambe in October Ryan Williams has been reward with a new deal.

Such has been the midfielders impact since his signing was confirmed last month he's been reward with a deal until the end of the season.

Jim Bentley, as he told the official website, said: 'Ryan has already shown that he is a player with huge potential.

'He is still only young, but I am sure he will continue to improve and will be an important member of our squad.'

Should Williams continue to perform as he has for The Shrimps so far then the chances are that the 21-year-old will be signing, or at least offered, another contract in the summer.
