Morecambe Win On The Road Again

York 1-4 Morecambe
2nd February 2013
15:00
Bootham Crescent

Morecambe secured a second successive away victory when they won impressively at York on Saturday afternoon.

Lewis Alessandra (23) broke the deadlock for Morecambe at the midway point of the first half but York soon had a chance to draw level when they were awarded a penalty. Jason Walker (28) made no mistake.

Three goals in the final 15-minutes of the game from Kevin Ellison (74) and a late double from Jack Redshaw (87 & 90+3) saw The Shrimps to a 4-1 win.
