'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Morecambe finally get their man!

Having been previously foiled Morecambe have finally been able to tie Ryan Williams down to a contract.

The midfielder agreed terms on a deal to join The Shrimps back in October but this couldn't go through due to "international clearance" issues. However, he continued to train with the club with it always hoped he could be signed up.

A green light was given this week with Williams signing a deal until the end of the season so now the former Rhyl man could come into contention to make his debut at Plymouth this weekend.

Should Williams be able to channel the frustration that he's endured while waiting to join the club into positive aggression his signing could prove to be an instrumental one in the second half of the season.
