Weather ruins Shrimps' pre-Christmas game
The final games before Christmas were due to be played today; the weather gods had other ideas as widespread flooding caused a host of postponements including Morecambe's.
Morecambe were due to travel to Dagenham this afternoon but after a pitch inspection the playing service was deemed unplayable and the game called off due to a waterlogged pitch.
A new date for this fixture will be set for sometimes in the new year.
