'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Morecambe defender joins Lancaster

James Short has been allowed to join non-league outfit Lancaster City.

Jim Bentley, as he told the official website, feels this is in the best interests of all concerned: 'I think James has done well for us and this move will really help him.

'He will be playing really competitive, regular games at a good level and he will learn a lot as a footballer.'

Short's Morecambe debut hasn't come yet but chances are the defenders time will come and this loan move should do exactly what The Shrimps boss hopes it will.
