Paperwork delay

Morecambe had been hoping to bring in Ryan Williams, but paperwork delays are holding up these moves.

Jim Bentley, as he told the official website, has explained the problems but is still hopeful a resolution can be found soon: 'as Ryan last played for a club in Wales and the move is out of the transfer window period, there have been some problems with the move, which we hope we can solve.

'We will continue to work on it with all the relevant authorities and hope to be able to see Ryan in action as soon as possible.'

A deal has been agreed with the 21-year-old for a number of weeks but still The Shrimps wait to finalise the deal for the former Rhyl man, with the loan departure of Joe Mwasile to Workington allowing this financially.
