Bentley: Happy with the overall performance

Morecambe ended a good few days of home form at The Globe with a 0-0 draw with Burton on Saturday afternoon.

Jim Bentley was happy with "the overall performance" of his side, that caused a decent Burton side "a lot of problems" at times: 'I thought we played some great stuff at times and I have to be happy with the overall performance.

'We passed it around well and caused a good team a lot of problems, while at the other end we showed great discipline against a Burton team who have scored a lot of goals this year.'

There weren't that many chances, but those that came were more in favour of The Shrimps but the Morecambe boss would have wanted the keeper "tested" more: 'We certainly had the better chances but we didn't really test their 'keeper as much as I would have liked and that was the only disappointment.

'If we had shown a bit more composure around the box we could have taken all three points.'
