No Ellison appeal

Morecambe decided against appealing Kevin Ellison's sending off (even though they felt it unjust) because there wasn't enough evidence to support such an appeal.

Shrimps boss Jim Bentley believes that Ellison, and Morecambe, were hard done by (with "everyone who I have spoken to who saw the incident says it didn't deserve a red card") but as there aren't the luxury of endless cameras in league two the off the ball incident wasn't caught on camera clear enough.

The footage that is visible didn't back a case that could have been put forward so the three-match suspension, that kicks in tonight, has been begrudging accepted.
